Terms & Conditions

art-ful pottery café, operated by Crafty Worthing Limited. These terms apply to all bookings, events, and activities.

1.

General

By making a booking or participating in any activity, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. art-ful reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

2.

Pottery Collection

  • Painted pottery items are typically ready for collection within approximately 2 weeks
  • Clay items may take longer than 2 weeks, depending on drying and firing times
  • You will be notified via SMS when your items are ready for collection
  • Items will be held for 2 weeks from the date you receive the SMS notification
  • art-ful recommends collecting items promptly once notified
3.

Breakages & Firing Process Disclaimer

Pottery and clay items go through a kiln firing process which involves extreme temperatures.

  • While every care is taken, items may occasionally crack, warp, or break during firing
  • This is an inherent risk of the process and is outside of art-ful's control
  • art-ful cannot guarantee outcomes and is not liable for damage occurring during firing
4.

Cancellations & Refunds

Birthday Parties

  • Full refund available if cancelled at least 14 days (2 weeks) before the party
  • No partial refunds at any time
  • No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of the party date
  • Any eligible refund may take up to 14 days to be processed by the banking system

Ticketed Events & Workshops

  • Full refund available if cancelled at least 24 hours before the event
  • No refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours
  • Any eligible refund may take up to 14 days to be processed by the banking system

Event Minimum Attendance

  • art-ful reserves the right to cancel events or workshops at short notice if a minimum number of bookings is not reached
  • In the event of cancellation by art-ful, customers will receive a full refund
  • Refunds may take up to 14 days to be processed by the banking system

Table Bookings

  • We take a card to secure your table booking — your bank will authorise a £0 amount at the time of booking
  • In the event of a cancellation made within 24 hours of the booking date and time, or a no-show on the day, a charge of £5 per person on the booking will be taken from the card provided
5.

Slime & Activity Disclaimer

Certain activities (including slime making and pottery painting) involve materials that may cause damage or reactions. art-ful is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal belongings during activities. Participants take part at their own risk.

Allergies & Reactions

  • Materials used (including paints, glazes, and slime ingredients) may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions
  • By participating, you acknowledge this risk
  • If you have known sensitivities, please inform art-ful staff before participating
6.

Supervision of Children

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times unless part of a supervised event
  • art-ful is not responsible for unsupervised children
7.

Public Liability

  • art-ful takes its responsibilities for health and safety seriously
  • art-ful maintains public liability insurance in accordance with legal requirements
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so
8.

Personal Property

  • Customers are responsible for their personal belongings
  • art-ful accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal items (except where required by law)
