Located in the up-and-coming West End of Worthing town center, the art-ful Café offers a wide range of creative experiences for the young and young at heart!
This is the perfect spot to relax, escape from everyday life and make some beautiful art!
Bring some wine, we will put the tunes on, whilst you paint the models, it’ll be a giggle!
When booking a group, please book per group rather than individually, as we won’t know to sit you together.

Pottery painting
Last Thursday of the month
Bring yer mates , paint pottery , eat cake, listen to some wikid tunes and have a giggle. The perfect night out . You’re very welcome to bring Alcohol , we will supply the glasses . There’s a charge for bringing in your own tipple . ( £3.50 per drinker )
If you are stuck for ideas on how to decorate your pottery, don’t worry ! We have stamps, stencils and silkscreens , you can also bring in an image and trace on to pottery . We will make sure you go home happy with what you painted . We will take the £15 per person deposit off your bill at the end of the session.

Clay evening
First Thursday of the month
Clay building is really therapeutic , bring friends or come alone . It’s a very friendly evening where the vibe is chilled but the chat is flowing ! You can bring your own alcohol ? ( Corkage ) or try one of our very yummy milkshakes ?
The Clay evening is a hand building session suitable for complete beginners , we will demonstrate some clay building techniques , such as pinch pots , coil pots and slab building . Each month we will look at a new project . From building a vase to a mug to a wall plaque .The clay can be painted in the same sitting or we can glaze your masterpiece for you .
The clay will need 4/5 weeks to dry out properly before it’s fired . It’s a slower process than the ready made pottery .

A little more info…
FAQs
Yes, it’ll guarantee you a table and the equipment, especially at busy times.
Your pottery has to be hand dipped, wiped and loaded into the kiln. The firing itself takes two days or more, and so you will be given a date when decorating for the collection of your finished item, normally around a week later.
During busy periods, the collection time will be 2 weeks as we have a lot of pottery to go through the kiln. Postage is available and calculated at the time of paying.
We’ll do our best, but it depends how much pottery there is going through the kiln and the time of the year. There is only so much room in the kilns as you can imagine. We can post pottery if you live further away, prices will be calculated at the time of paying.
All are paints are child safe, water based, non toxic under glazes and they wash out from clothes.
We do not contact you to tell you that your pottery is ready. It’s usually a week to collect , sometimes 2 weeks if we are very busy. At the point of sale, we will tell you when to collect.
We will hold on to your pottery for one month after your collection date. Unfortunately, we haven’t got the space to store it any longer.
Yes, we can post your pottery – there’s a postal fee for this.
Yes, you can come back and finish it, we charge a studio fee to return and finish.
We do not recommend you do this, they will last longer if you handwash only.
We now do parties in the cafe! We hold UV Parties every weekend so please fill our enquire form out to book. If you aren’t wanting a UV party, then you can book a large table in the cafe for a birthday gathering, however this is just a table booking.

Enjoy an adult only workshop in our studio! We have tons of pottery to choose from and plenty of tools for you to use. Get those pinterest boards going to give you inspiration before you come, or browse our demos and let the ideas flow from there!
First and Third Thursday of the month (term time only) £15 plus booking fee – We will take the £15 per person charge off your bill at the end of the evening.

Pottery that you paint will be ready to collect in one week (2 weeks during busy periods) after we glaze and fire it. Pottery painting is individually priced in the studio.

Bring your Pinterest board ideas to life in our clay workshop!
Your ticket includes your space, the clay and our helping hands to be there to offer guidance during your session. It also includes your return visit to paint your clay!
We have step by step guides to create anything from flowery candle holders to vases or even a boobie pot! Or why not bring your own idea?
This workshop is suitable for all abilities so join us for a night of stress free fun!
