Apply to all events in our studio

Café terms

There must be an adult in the party and disco room at all times if there are one or more children in there at any time.

Breakages or damage to the props or furnishings will have to paid for by the party hosts.

The party hosts are responsible for the behaviour of the children at their party.

Misuse of any of the art-ful equipment will have to be paid for.

Party Cancellations will not be entitled to a refund. Date changes will be considered if the request is made at least 14 days before the scheduled party date.

Bus party terms

Upon booking, a none refundable deposit is of £100 is required (cleared funds. i.e. cash, credit/debit card etc). This books your slot and ensures your party and delivery time and is non-negotiable.

All outstanding balances are required no later than 2 weeks prior to your event in cleared funds, either transfer to our bank or via an iZettle payment link.

In the highly unlikely event that a party cannot be fulfilled (due to mechanical breakdown or such) all monies will be refunded including deposit or an alternative date will be offered.

Although our staff remain with the bus and the party we require a minimum of two additional adults to supervise children throughout the party.

Vehicle access: The art-ful bus is an American school bus, so adequate access will be required. The customer is to ensure that a clear access route is possible to their location and there are no width restrictions on route.

There is to be a minimum length of 5 parking spaces available at the property to ensure we can park on site and no low hanging trees near these spaces to avoid damaging the roof or sides of our bus.

Consideration must also be given by the customer of any low bridges, weight limits and narrow roads on route to your property. Any of the above not mentioned by yourselves may result in the bus not being able to access your property and us not being able to provide you a party.

The customer will be responsible for any parking charges that may arise for the duration of the hire and is to ensure that sufficient permits/permissions are obtained for the bus to park in its location for the duration of the hire. Any resulting fines or tickets will be directed at the hirer for failing to pay costs and obtaining such permissions.

Health & Safety

The care, supervision and safety of the party are at all times the responsibility of the hirer.

There must be one responsible adults from the party in charge of the children on the bus at all times. The art-ful bus staff are there solely to operate and/or manage the vehicle and oversee the running of the party.

We do not accept responsibility for children with allergies – please ensure that these children are correctly cared and catered for.

All jewellery must be removed from the child and looked after by an accompanying adult. art-ful holds no responsibility for lost or damaged jewellery or belongings.

Hirer Responsibilities

The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by any member of the hirer’s group.

The hirer will also be responsible for any damage caused to the interior or exterior of the vehicle as a result of any behaviour that puts safety of others at risk.

art-ful does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, inconvenience, injury or death arising from any accident, breakdown or delay attributable to reasons beyond the control of the owner.

We will not be responsible for any valuables or other items belonging to members of the group.

Additional information

The art-ful bus will Endeavour to be at the venue and set up 10 minutes prior to the booked arrival time. However we cannot be responsible for any arising circumstances on the day i.e. road work delays and traffic incidents. These are beyond our control.

We Endeavour to fill every hirers needs and provide a truly amazing children’s party but all our terms and conditions must be adhered to without fail.

I didn't have food, just a coffee so can't really review the food. The morning was so lovely. I was gifted this by my son and I was quite nervous as an over 60's woman on my own, but I was treated so well by the very friendly staff who helped me along the way. It was also so lovely to see all the young mums and dads with their children and babies enjoying something creative. I was pretty impressed with what I managed to do considering I have very shaky hands!!

I visited for the first time today. I needed to entertain my 3 yr old alongside looking after my 4 month old on a cold wet day after a last minute cancellation of childcare. I found it online and decided to give it a go…I’ve never felt so looked after, my 3 year loved it and was so engaged for the afternoon, but just as importantly I felt looked after as an overwhelmed and exhausted mum. The place is full of fun creative activities, and nice snacks, but what makes it special are the people who work here. They understand how to help with the right balance of clear guidance required and look after you in a way that makes you feel relaxed.

I can not recommend this place enough. The atmosphere is amazing. The place itself has its own style that is beautiful to look at. My iced coffee was fantastic but what really makes this place is the staff. They where so helpful and accommodating. They couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended

A little more info…

FAQs

Yes, it’ll guarantee you a table and the equipment, especially at busy times.

Your pottery has to be hand dipped, wiped and loaded into the kiln. The firing itself takes two days or more, and so you will be given a date when decorating for the collection of your finished item, normally around a week later.

During busy periods, the collection time will be 2 weeks as we have a lot of pottery to go through the kiln. Postage is available and calculated at the time of paying.

We’ll do our best, but it depends how much pottery there is going through the kiln and the time of the year. There is only so much room in the kilns as you can imagine. We can post pottery if you live further away, prices will be calculated at the time of paying.

All are paints are child safe, water based, non toxic under glazes and they wash out from clothes.

We do not contact you to tell you that your pottery is ready. It’s usually a week to collect , sometimes 2 weeks if we are very busy. At the point of sale, we will tell you when to collect.

We will hold on to your pottery for one month after your collection date. Unfortunately, we haven’t got the space to store it any longer.

Yes, we can post your pottery – there’s a postal fee for this.

Yes, you can come back and finish it, we charge a studio fee to return and finish.

We do not recommend you do this, they will last longer if you handwash only.

We now do parties in the cafe! We hold UV Parties every weekend so please fill our enquire form out to book. If you aren’t wanting a UV party, then you can book a large table in the cafe for a birthday gathering, however this is just a table booking.

Enjoy an adult only workshop in our studio! We have tons of pottery to choose from and plenty of tools for you to use. Get those pinterest boards going to give you inspiration before you come, or browse our demos and let the ideas flow from there!

First and Third Thursday of the month (term time only) £15 plus booking fee – We will take the £15 per person charge off your bill at the end of the evening.

Corkage £3.50 per person.

Pottery that you paint will be ready to collect in one week (2 weeks during busy periods) after we glaze and fire it. Pottery painting is individually priced in the studio.

Bring your Pinterest board ideas to life in our clay workshop!

Your ticket includes your space, the clay and our helping hands to be there to offer guidance during your session. It also includes your return visit to paint your clay!

We have step by step guides to create anything from flowery candle holders to vases or even a boobie pot! Or why not bring your own idea?

This workshop is suitable for all abilities so join us for a night of stress free fun!
